About the cucoon
After experiencing the birth of two angels who came into this world as still borne and then being blessed years later with the birth of a healthy baby girl. I was inspired to create baby clothing that would provide comfort and help nurture our little ones as they grow and flourish. It took many years before the idea for Cucoon came to me. Once it did, I began working diligently to bring it to life. In the process we researched and evaluated many fabrics to find the perfect one possessing the characteristics that cater to the wellbeing of the baby.
This extensive search resulted in a bamboo organic cotton blend being chosen to compliment the unique design of Cucoon. Bamboo fabric provides an ideal balance of comfort and resiliency while being antibacterial, hypoallergenic and possessing UV and temperature regulation characteristics to further enhance the baby’s wellbeing.
This process took more than three years, resulting in the product you see today. It has truly been a labor of love, from my family to yours. The “Cucoon” was created in the spirt of a cucoon which nurtures and protects the caterpillar until it blossoms into a magnificent butterfly. It is our wish that you cherish each moment with your little caterpillar, as it grows and flourishes into the beautiful butterfly it was meant to be.
